Atlas Copco Group has complemented industrial pumps portfolio with external gear pumps manufacturer

Nacka, Sweden, January 03, 2024: KRACHT GmbH (Kracht), a manufacturer of high-quality technologies including external gear pumps, fluid measurement, valves, hydraulic drives, and dosing systems has become part of Atlas Copco Group.

Kracht was founded in 1911 and has its headquarters in Werdhol, Germany. The company has subsidiaries in US, China and Hungary, and approximately 440 employees. In 2022, Kracht had revenues of approximately 72 MEUR (766 MSEK*).

The purchase price is not disclosed. The acquisition was announced December 4th 2023 and is now closed. The business has become part of the Power and Flow Division within the Power Technique business area.
