Atlas Copco has acquired a German compressor and service distributor

Stockholm, Sweden, May 29, 2019: Atlas Copco has acquired AirCenterSüd GmbH & Co. KG. The company has a strong focus on service.

AirCenterSüd GmbH & Co. KG is located in Wolfratshausen near Munich and serves customers in the region.

The company had six employees in 2018.

“The acquisition is in line with our strategy to increase our local presence and service offering”, said Vagner Rego, Business Area President Compressor Technique. “Skilled service engineers ensure our customers get the most out of every investment.”

The purchase price is not material relative to Atlas Copco’s market capitalization and is not disclosed.

The acquired business will operationally become part of the Compressor Technique service division.
