Compressor distributor in Ecuador has become part of Atlas Copco Group

Nacka, Sweden, July 2, 2024: Emcovele S.A., a compressor distributor in Ecuador, has become part of Atlas Copco Group.

The company, located in Quito and Guayaquil, has 49 employees, and offers sales and service of compressed air technology.

“This acquisition will strengthen our direct presence in Ecuador and is in line with our goal to get closer to end customers and grow our geographic coverage”, said Philippe Ernens, Business Area President Compressor Technique.

The purchase price is not disclosed. The acquired business has become part of the service division within the Compressor Technique Business Area.
