Nacka, Sweden, August 21, 2024: Generator Rental Services Limited (“GRS”), a company that provides specialty power rental solutions, will become part of Atlas Copco Group.

GRS, which is headquartered in Auckland, was founded in 1997. The company has 58 employees and revenues of 23 MEUR (263 MSEK*) during the last fiscal year. The company provides specialty power and temperature control equipment, and the main customer groups can be found within power utility, general industry, and civil construction.

The specialty power rental market is a highly technical and regulated market driven by the need for more and more complicated technologies to support the increasing need for electrification in society. With this acquisition of GRS we both enhance our expertise in this market and establish a growth platform and competence centre for the whole Oceania region”, said Andrew Walker, Business Area President Power Technique.

The purchase price is not disclosed, and the acquisition is expected to close during the third quarter of 2024.

The business will become part of the Specialty Rental division within the Power Technique Business Area.
