Atria concentrates production of convenience food from Karkkila to the Nurmo plant

Employer-employee negotiations concerning the reorganisation plans of convenience food operations have been completed.  Atria decided to transfer production of convenience from Karkkila to the Nurmo plant. Karkkila production plant will be closed by the end of October 2013. All employees affected by the negotiations have been offered jobs at Atria’s other production plants. The negotiations concerned total of 32 employees at Karkkila production plant.  The reorganisation is expected to generate annual cost savings of EUR 1 million.
