ATRIA INTENSIFIES ITS POULTRY BUSINESS

Atria Group plc intensifies its poultry business by transferring the primary
production of chicken and turkey to Atria's poultry industries. The objective of
the arrangement is to reinforce the poultry business and to improve the steering
of operations.

A-Farmers Ltd has been engaged in primary production of poultry in the pullet
farms and hatcheries owned by the Itikka osuuskunta and Osuuskunta Pohjanmaan
Liha. In connection with the arrangement, the properties will be transferred
under the ownership of Atria Group plc. The personnel will transfer to Atria-
Chick Oy, a subsidiary of Atria, as existing employees. The arrangement concerns
about 15 people.
