Atria invests in production automation in Sweden                                

Atria Scandinavia is to invest a total of EUR 1.6 million in the automation of  
the cold cuts production line at the Halmstad plant and in the automation of    
meat product and hamburger production at the Sköllersta plant. These investments
will be implemented in the second half of 2010, and the annual cost savings will
be EUR 0.9 million.                                                             

As a result of these actions, an estimated 6 jobs at the Halmstad plant and 24  
jobs at the Sköllersta plant are exptected to be lost.                          

Negotiations with the labour market organisations will be initiated immediately.
