BJÖRN WIDEGREN APPOINTED AS ACTING MANAGING DIRECTOR OF LITHELLS AB

Björn Widegren, the chief financial officer/ chief information officer of Atria
Group plc's Swedish subsidiary Lithells AB, has been appointed as deputy managing
director and as acting managing director from the 1st of September, 2005. The
current managing director, Matti Karppinen, will be the new managing director of
Lännen Tehtaat plc.
