DIVIDEND PAYOUT RECORD DATE

Finnish Central Securities Depository Ltd has granted Atria Oyj an 
exemption whereby the company may use 13 May 2003 as the record 
date of its dividend payout, as stated in the Notice of General 
Meeting. Due to this record date, Atria shares traded as from 9 
May 2003 on Helsinki Exchanges will exceptionally not confer the 
right to a dividend for 2002.
