SVENSK SNABBMAT FÖR STORKÖK AB STRENGTHENS ITS POSITION IN SWEDEN

Atria Group plc's Swedish subsidiary and wholesale trading specialist Svensk
Snabbmat för Storkök AB is strengthening its position on the Swedish markets.
Svensk Snabbmat för Storkök AB and Matgruppen för Storkök i Norr have today
signed an agreement on company re-organisations, the result of which is the
transfer of Matgruppen för Storkök i Norr AB's shops into the ownership of Svensk
Snabbmat. At the same time, the current shop owners will become shareholders in
Svensk Snabbmat. Atria will continue as majority shareholder in the company. The
following companies will be attached to Svensk Snabbmat:

- Hedmans Partiaffär i Gällivare AB
- Hedmans Partiaffär i Luleå AB
- Matgrossisten i Skellefteå AB
- Norrsäljarna i Örnsköldsvik AB
- Norrsäljarna i Östersund AB
- Härnösands Frukt och Grönt AB
- Frukt och Matgrossisten i Söderhamn AB

The combined 2005 turnover of the retail stores now owned by Svensk Snabbmat was
in excess of SEK 500 million. As a result of the business deal, the annual
turnover of Svensk Snabbmat will increase to approximately SEK 1.9 billion.

Following the re-organisation, Svensk Snabbmat now has a total of 18 offices
covering all of Sweden. The company's operating idea is to maintain a local
presence as a retail store providing good customer service, and to remain close
to the markets and its customers. By way of the current corporate acquisition,
Svensk Snabbmat för Storkök AB is strengthening its position and local foothold
throughout Sweden.
