ATS EUROMASTER LAUNCHES GUIDE TO GREATER VAN FLEET EFFICIENCY
Stand 4D10, Hall 4 – CV Show, NEC, Birmingham, 29 April – 1 May 2014
ATS Euromaster is using the occasion of the CV Show to launch a new guidebook to help LCV operators improve the efficiency of their van fleets. The booklet is available free of charge from its stand in Hall 4.
Packed with 25 top tips to help improve fleet performance, the 12 page booklet builds on ATS Euromaster’s five decades of servicing van fleets, as well as its own experience of running more than 820 mobile service vehicles.
The guide provides best practice advice on everything from choosing the right chassis, body and driveline package, to vehicle security, fuel management, servicing and the importance of establishing a tyre policy.
Peter Fairlie, Group Sales Director of ATS Euromaster, an industry partner to the FTA’s much-respected Van Excellence scheme, says: “We’re the most experienced in the industry at supporting LCV fleets; plus more than 95 per cent of our centres can accommodate long-wheelbase high-roof panel vans. We also know what it’s like to run a busy van operation – in our case, the largest mobile tyre fitting operation in the business.
“Our 25 top tips booklet is filled with essential ‘need-to-know’ information and will serve as a useful tool to benchmark any van fleet. The greater the precision in how a company specifies and manages its vans, the more control it has of overall efficiency. And even if this booklet reveals nothing a fleet manager or company owner didn’t already know – at least it confirms they’re on the right track.”
ATS Euromaster has invested more than £12 million to extend the range of services it can offer van operators during the last four years. In addition to tyres and fast-fit work such as batteries, brakes, exhausts, shocks and oil, the company now offers menu-driven servicing for vans in 186 centres, Class IV MoTs in 147 centres and Class VII MoTs in 49 centres – with these numbers increasing all of the time.
As well as being available at the CV Show, the booklet is also available to download as a PDF at www.atseuromaster.co.uk/business.
