ATS EUROMASTER SERVICE CENTRE PICKS UP INTERNATIONAL SAFETY AWARD
05 August 2016
ATS Euromaster has added to its impressive list of safety accolades and awards, with its service centre in Dunstable picking up an International Safety Award from the British Safety Council.
The centre was nominated by Andy Drake, Health and Safety Advisor at ATS Euromaster, following a routine assessment where the team was found to have an exceptional commitment to safety, even by the industry-leading standards of the tyre and vehicle maintenance provider.
Stan Rudowski, Group Head of Health, Safety and Technical Services at ATS Euromaster, says: “Our Dunstable centre can be very proud to receive this accolade. Once again, our company-wide commitment to safety has delivered a safe working environment that is a benchmark for the rest of the industry to follow.”
The tyre and vehicle maintenance expert already holds accreditation from the industry-leading Safecontractor – the first nationwide vehicle experts to do so – and Contractors Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS).
ATS Euromaster is also the only national tyre specialist to be accredited with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Gold Award. All managers are also currently being trained to ensure they hold a qualification from the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
ATS Euromaster operates one of the largest fleets of mobile technicians in the UK and implements a number of schemes to ensure the company runs as safely as possible – including a ‘Safe by Choice’ programme, which promotes safety as a personal choice for staff.
