RACING START AS ATS EUROMASTER LAUNCHES HIGH-TECH £320,000 SERVICE CENTRE IN BRIGHTON

Local residents will have the chance to experience the thrill of driving an F1 car during a launch weekend for the new ATS Euromaster service centre inChurch Road,Brighton.
The tyre and fast-fit specialist is marking the occasion – to be held on February 24 and 25 – with a range of exclusive discounts and promotions. These include offering the first five people on each day who buy four Michelin tyres a 50 per cent discount – potentially saving local motorists hundreds of pounds.
The new location, just half a mile away from the former ATS Euromaster centre in Portslade and 1.5 miles west ofBrightontown centre, was previously a car showroom, but has undergone an extensive £320,000 renovation programme over the last six months.
Colin Butterfill, Centre Manager, says: “We’ve only moved down the road, but our new facilities mean we can offer a wider variety of services than ever before, including MOTs, nitrogen tyre inflation, computerised wheel alignment and air-conditioning recharging.
“Many of these services will be offered at a reduced price during the launch weekend, including free nitrogen inflation with every tyre purchase, half price air-con recharging and class 4 MOTs for just £25.”
Alongside the state-of-the-art F1 simulator, families will also have the chance to meet the world-famous Michelin Man, while motorsport enthusiasts can marvel first-hand at the Lotus Evora, a 162mph British GT racing car which will be parked on the forecourt throughout the launch celebrations.
Together with Butterfill, the new team includes Assistant Manager Kerry McAnespie and technicians Andy Hughes, Kevin Rodgers and Gary Bowles.
The Brighton West centre features a 450m² workshop and can accommodate all sizes of car, 4x4 and van, with more than 1,000 tyres and automotive parts stored on-site, backed-up by daily deliveries. It has four fitting bays in addition to a dedicated MOT bay and is open from 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday and from 8am to 5pm on Saturdays.
