(Chicago, IL – April 30, 2013) Vein Clinics of America (VCA), a wholly owned subsidiary of IntegraMed America, Inc., and the largest network of physicians in the United States specializing exclusively in the minimally invasive, outpatient treatment of varicose vein disease and associated conditions, announced today that it has opened its third full time facility in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. Michal Savcenko, M.D., is the specialty trained physician at the new facility located at 1101 Raintree Circle, Suite 140, Allen, TX 75013. Following completion of an Advanced Cardiothoracic Fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Savcenko began practicing in the Irving, TX market as a Cardiothoracic and Vascular/Endovascular surgeon. Dr. Savcenko is Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery. VCA now operates 48 locations across 15 states, including facilities in Plano and Dallas.

"At VCA, we treat patients with the most current techniques for diagnosing and treating varicose vein disease on an outpatient basis right in our offices," said Dr. Savcenko. "I am looking forward to applying what I have learned over the years along with the specialty training provided by VCA to help my patients quickly resolve their chronic venous problems."

"We are thrilled to be opening our third full time facility in the region with Dr. Savcenko," said Clayton Lawrence, Regional Vice President of Operations for VCA. "Varicose vein disease can often go undetected without the appropriate diagnostic tools and properly trained staff. All of our physicians and staff are expertly trained in identifying and treating varicose veins."

Varicose vein disease is more than just a cosmetic problem. Varicose veins can cause symptoms such as pain, fatigue, itching, burning, swelling, and potentially deep vein thrombosis. Vein disease is a progressive condition that may only get worse if untreated.

Since 1981, VCA network physicians have specialized in the treatment of vein disease, including spider veins, varicose veins, facial veins, hands veins, and venous leg ulcers. VCA’s network physicians utilize a comprehensive, minimally invasive treatment approach that includes outpatient treatment with Endovenous laser Treatment (ELT), Ultrasound-Guided Sclerotherapy and Surface Vein Sclerotherapy. Most of our procedures are medically necessary and covered by insurance.
