Attana expands and recruits new international sales manager
Attana continue the increased focus on sales and marketing by appointing Dr. Tarek Bass as international sales manager. Dr Bass is German, has studied at universities in Germany, France and Sweden and is fluent in German, French, English and Swedish. Tarek start at Attana on August 20th and will be active on the West European market with Attana’s entire product portfolio.
Tarek was born and raised in Germany, has during the last ten years lived in France and Sweden. He holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology from KTH (Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm). At KTH Tarek worked with biosensors, cell-based technologies and therapeutic proteins. He is driven by challenges and has, amongst other things sailed across the Atlantic. We believe that the combination of handling challenging situations, technical and scientific expertise within Attana’s core areas and linguistic and cultural experiences will fit well with his new position.
During the fall 2017 Attana concluded a financing round in order to expands the companies resources within sales and marketing. The employment of Dr. Bass is in agreement with the plans Attana communicated during last fall and means that Attana´s sales efforts will be significantly strengthened.
