The Finnish Competition Authority has applied for an extension to investigate the divestment of Attendo’s health care operations to Terveystalo

In May 2018, Attendo entered into a binding agreement to divest its healthcare operations in Finland to Terveystalo. The completion of the transaction is subject to approval from the competition authority.

The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (the "FCCA") proceedings concerning the Transaction between Attendo and Terveystalo is still pending and, in order to handle the matter, the FCCA has applied for an extension from the Finnish Market Court until  14 December 2018.

Provided that the Finnish Market Court will grant the applied extension and the FCCA approves the transaction, the completion of the transaction is still expected to take place within the previously estimated timetable at the end of 2018.
