AU-System Acquires C & C Consulting

AU-SYSTEM ACQUIRES C & C CONSULTING Stockholm, Sweden - November 9, 2000 - AU-System AB today announced the acquisition of the Gothenburg based management consultancy C & C Consulting, with eight employees. C & C Consulting, was founded in 1989 and offers strategic consulting services for business development of service offers. Through the acquisition AU-System will further strengthen its competence in strategic business and service development. "The acquisition of C & C Consulting also enables us to support our customers with packaging and the launch of service offerings. This is, for example, important for our work with mobile portals," says Tomas Franzén, President & CEO at AU-System. During the last few years C & C Consulting has mainly been working with strategic consulting services for the Volvo group of companies. The client list also includes Grundfos, Svedala and Bilia. C & C Consulting reported revenues of 9.5 MSEK in 1999. The transaction will take effect at the turn of the year and C & C Consulting will contribute positively to AU-System's result in 2001.
