AU-System and IBM Team Up to Deliver Mobile e-business Solutions AU-System and IBM today announced a Memorandum of Understanding which sets out the terms for a services partnership agreement to collaborate on providing mobile e-business solutions to customers of both companies world-wide. In connection with the partnership, IBM has also agreed to purchase shares in AU-System for the Swedish kronor equivalent of $15 million, making IBM one of AU- System's larger shareholders. AU-System, one of Sweden's leading suppliers of consulting services for wireless and Internet solutions, will combine their unique expertise in mobile technologies and services with IBM's unrivalled e-business capabilities. As a result of the agreement, AU-System and IBM will jointly offer end-to-end mobile business solutions, helping companies across every industry sector design, build, manage and run their mobile e-business.
