AU-System Behind the Web Site for Sweden's EU Presidency

AU-SYSTEM BEHIND THE WEB SITE FOR SWEDEN'S EU PRESIDENCY Stockholm, Sweden - November 30, 2000 - AU-System has developed the official web site for Sweden's EU Presidency in 2001. The web site will contribute to the image of Sweden as a leading Internet nation and give the general public an insight into what is happening during the year in relation to the EU Presidency. The web site will be launched on December 1, and will function as a useful source of information for media and the general public. AU-System's subsidiary SandbergTrygg has been involved in the assignment, with responsibility for the information structure and design. SandbergTrygg has also been responsible, in a parallel assignment, for the graphic concept and logo for the EU Presidency. "The web site will become an important information channel for journalists and members of the general public wanting to follow the day-to-day work during the Presidency," says Johan Sandberg, chief editor eu2001.se at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. The web site has the technology for simultaneous publication to both stationary and mobile users and is based on AU-System's web publishing concept, where layout and contents are separated so that the responsibility for updating can be distributed maintaining the same, uniform layout. Users will also be able to receive news from the web site to their mobile phone by SMS message or to a WAP phone.
