AU-System cooperates with Bredbandsbolaget (B2) - to guarantee integration of Bredbandsbolaget's business support systems AU-System has signed an agreement with Bredbandsbolaget (B2) to be their system integrator for all the business support systems that are to be integrated into their operating environment. This integration will take place by adapting the systems to a common integration framework. AU-System will also act as Bredbandsbolaget's strategic advisor for all integration in the support-system environment. "We can see the opportunity for establishing an effective and properly researched integration solution for our support systems from the outset," says Lars-Åke Norling, head of the product management function at Bredbandsbolaget. "AU-System will contribute its wide experience of systems integration and will maintain the technical contacts with our systems suppliers." Bredbandsbolaget aims to achieve rapid expansion during the second half of 2000. This will depend on the ability to integrate the different support systems used by the company to permit the mutual exchange of information that is critical to the operation. New systems will then be added progressively, depending on Bredbandsbolaget's needs. "Bredbandsbolaget has considerable visions for the future, which we will help them to achieve," says Carl Piva, who is responsible for the account at AU-System. "We will ensure that the support systems selected by Bredbandsbolaget are integrated and commissioned safely and effectively." AU-System has undertaken to act as Bredbandsbolaget's link between its various suppliers of support systems and Bredbandsbolaget's operating environment. The task will consist of testing and integrating the support systems purchased by Bredbandsbolaget, and ensuring that they are introduced within the scope of the integration framework.
