AU-SYSTEM IN WAP DEAL WITH ASCOM Stockholm, Sweden - October 4, 2000 - AU-System, a leading Mobile Internet consultancy, has signed an agreement to deliver WAP browser software and consulting services to Ascom, the Swiss telecommunications group. The AUS WAP Browser will be used in Ascom's residential and business telephones. "The Ascom deal is pioneering in terms of using WAP in telephony systems," says Christer Björk, Business Area Manager at AU-System. Samsung has already launched two WAP telephones with the aid of AU-System, and Motorola is currently developing new phones jointly with AU-System.
