AU-System signs general agreement with Apoteket
AU-System signs general agreement with Apoteket Stockholm, Sweden - December 7, 2001 - AU-System has signed a general agreement with Apoteket AB (The National Corporation of Swedish Pharmacies) to supply IT consulting services, including business analysis and strategy, project management, systems development, systems management, customer service, computer operation and technology. The new general agreement will be valid for 2 years, with the possibility of a 1- year extension. "This is our first general agreement with Apoteket and we're looking forward to participate in the future development of their IT structure," says Lars Alvesköld, business unit manager at AU-System. "The agreement gives Apoteket access to AU-System's complete portfolio of consulting services and technological solutions within IT and telecommunications." In total 6 general agreements have been signed, which means a drastic reduction of the number of suppliers. Apoteket's ambition is to reduce their total costs through close co-operation with a limited number of suppliers. The total value of the agreements is estimated at SEK 200 million.
