AU-System signs general agreement with UPC in Sweden

AU-System signs general agreement with UPC in Sweden Stockholm, August 30, 2000 - AU-System has entered into a general agreement with UPC Sweden, an international supplier of broadband services. The alliance covers a number of assignments related to technical development. Under the agreement, which runs until 2002, AU-System will supply UPC with project management services and will function as technical specialists and advisors for UPC's telephony projects. AU-System will also assist UPC in implementing the telecom services that UPC will offer its broadband clients. "UPC is an interesting player on the expanding market for broadband services," comments Tomas Franzén, President and CEO of AU-System. "The agreement enables UPC to benefit from our expertise in technical infrastructure and services development."
