AU-System signs new general agreement with Telia Stockholm, Sweden - February 1, 2001 - AU-System signs a new general agreement with Telia. The new agreement covers the supply of qualified IT consulting services, for example within the areas of mobile communications, Internet, and broadband. The agreement covers all companies within the Telia group. "We have evaluated around 30 suppliers in the purchasing process. The companies with a general agreement will be considered preferred suppliers for the whole Telia group of companies during 2001," says Lennart Sandberg, Director Corporate IT-contract, Telia AB. "The agreement further strengthens our already comprehensive co-operation with Telia," says Tomas Franzén, President and CEO of AU-System. "During 2000 the co-operation resulted in revenues of more than SEK 80 million. The new agreement gives all Telia companies access to AU-System's leading competence within telecommunications and mobile Internet." The agreement runs during 2001 and will cover various projects such as project management, business development, research, and software development.
