Professor Dr Rolf-Dieter Leister elected new AU-System board member

PROFESSOR DR ROLF-DIETER LEISTER ELECTED NEW AU-SYSTEM BOARD MEMBER Stockholm, Sweden - December 18, 2000 @ Professor Dr Rolf-Dieter Leister has been appointed a new board member of AU-System. He was formally elected at the extraordinary general meeting held by AU-System today. Professor Dr Leister replaces Graham Wrigley who has previously announced his resignation from the board. Professor Dr Rolf-Dieter Leister was formerly General Manager of IBM in Germany. He has also had a number of important assignments, including that of advisor to the office of the chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, to the Federal Minister of Post and Telecommunications and to Deutsche Bundespost (the German postal service). Between 1989 and 1996, he was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Telekom AG, and he currently sits on the boards of Ascom AG and DaimlerChrysler Services AG, among others. Professor Dr Leister also holds an honorary doctor's degree in Economics from the Budapest University of Economic Science and a professorship at the Technical University of Berlin.
