Audientes A/S receives final equipment type approval for sale of its advanced hearable product in China

Audientes A/S ("Audientes" or the "Company"), CVR 36047631, the Danish hearing health solutions company, today announces that it has received the expected equipment type approval SRRC (State Radio Regulation of China) for the sale of its advanced hearable product in China.
The SRRC certification is issued by the State Radio Monitoring and Testing Center (SRTC) following a comprehensive series of tests conducted in a Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (CMIIT) accredited testing laboratory in China.
Together with Audientes representative in China, Shenzhen Hengtong Partner Company Ltd. (“Hengtong”), the final preparations for the local product availability, naming and packaging design, incl. SRRC number, user guide and product information, can now be completed.
Fully localized products for the Chinese market will from early 2024 be prepared and shipped as soon as practically possible, subject to local market readiness.
The Company received in late September a similar approval from the Japanese Ministry of Communications as the advanced hearable product, Companion by Audientes, obtained the Certificate of Radio Equipment in Japan.
This means that Audientes has now secured the necessary technical national mandates to introduce its advanced hearable (known as Companion in Europe) in both the Chinese and Japanese markets as per its stated roll-out plan, albeit roughly a month later than expected.
