Audientes makes the v2.0 power upgrade to its Ven™ hearing aid available

Audientes A/S has completed a major software enhancement to its products, which is now available for download for Ven by Audientes on Apple Appstore for iPhones and Google Play for Android-smartphones for over-the-air product update via Bluetooth. This v2.0 lifecycle upgrade to Ven includes increased fitting range and amplification, as well as improved sound and noise cancellation, boosting the end-user experience significantly. The upgrade for Companion by Audientes will likewise be available later this week.
The comprehensive upgrade to the software platform underpinning Audientes’ hearing aid, Ven and Audientes’ advanced hearable, Companion, is now rolled out via the Apple Appstore for iPhones and Google Play for Android-smartphones, and existing users of Ven may download and install the updated product software via the Audientes App over a wireless Bluetooth connection to the Ven device. Companion users can likewise download and install the update when it is available later this week.
Users of Audientes self-fitting hearing aid, Ven, will experience an extended fitting range due to the increased amplification, thereby enlarging the addressable market to people with more severe hearing loss who can benefit from a quality sound experience, self-fitting capabilities, and attractive pricing. Both the Ven and Companion products benefit from the improvements in noise cancellation and clear sound quality, enabling listening to TV and streaming of e.g., music and audiobooks in a very high quality.
For its business partners in distribution and retail with existing inventory, Audientes will offer a product update service and training in the improvements to the products, which also include other important features such as manual-fit audiogram and fine-tuning functionality in the Ven self-fitting hearing aid on sale in India and Nepal.
