AudioDev delivers signal test equipment for Xbox

AudioDev delivers signal test equipment for Xbox AudioDev AB has signed a contract with DCA, Inc., to supply test equipment for electrical testing of the game discs for the Xbox video game system from Microsoft. The Xbox is due out later this year, and although volumes can not be disclosed the deal is of considerable sales value to AudioDev. AudioDev has been selected by DCA, Inc. as its technology partner for the electrical testing. DCA has signed an exclusive agreement with Microsoft and will provide the pre-mastering and data verification systems for the Xbox video game system. The test systems will be integrated and delivered to replicators authorized by Microsoft to produce the Xbox game discs. Deliveries of the test systems will begin in the spring 2001.
