Lynk & Co Cyan Racing, powered by Horse Powetrains division Aurobay, secured its 10th Team World Title in the 2024 FIA TCR World Tour with a commanding performance on Macau's legendary circuit. The team's success underscores Aurobay's powertrain technology, delivering reliability and performance in one of motorsport's most challenging environments.

Thed Björk’s victory in the first race of the weekend proved pivotal in securing the team’s championship title. The Swedish driver also earned the drivers’ vice-champion title, finishing just 11 points shy of the overall leader.

“This incredible achievement by Lynk & Co Cyan Racing highlights the power, precision, and reliability of Aurobay’s advanced powertrain technology. Winning the 10th World Title reflects the team’s relentless determination and the strength of our partnership. We are proud to contribute to this success and to push the boundaries of performance in motorsport.” said Ruiping Wang, CEO of Aurobay.

The Aurobay-powered Lynk & Co 03 TCR race car delivered a strong season, with the team winning more than half of the races while showcasing unparalleled consistency.

This milestone marks the 10th World Title for Cyan Racing and the eighth achieved in partnership with Lynk & Co in just eight years.

“We’ve proven once again that we’re the best touring car team in the world,” said Fredrik Wahlén, CEO and Team Manager of Cyan Racing.

“To secure our 10th World Title in such a short time is a testament to the talent, hard work, and dedication of everyone on the team. It’s an achievement we are all immensely proud of.”

The season finale at Macau presented unique challenges, including unpredictable weather, heavy rain, and drying track conditions. Despite these hurdles, Lynk & Co Cyan Racing’s drivers—Yann Ehrlacher, Ma Qing Hua, and Santiago Urrutia—delivered strong performances, further solidifying the team’s position as the pinnacle of touring car racing.

As the 2024 season concludes, Aurobay and Lynk & Co Cyan Racing look ahead to new challenges, continuing to drive innovation and excellence in motorsport.
