Gothenburg, May 8 – The Aurobay-powered Lynk & Co Cyan Racing team claimed a double victory at the FIA TCR World Tour race weekend on the streets of Marrakech in Morocco last weekend.

The team started the weekend by claiming pole position in the very hot conditions of the demanding street circuit on Friday. Drivers Yann Ehrlacher and Ma Qing Hua then followed this up with one victory each, in Race 1 and 2 on Saturday.

The Lynk & Co 03 TCR race cars utilize powertrain technology made by Aurobay, which is the same base engine as in Lynk & Co road cars.

The race car engines are then further developed for racing purposes by Cyan Racing to achieve a power output of 350hp and 420Nm. The two-liter engines are turbocharged, with direct injection and are subject to strict regulations in terms of power output and durability.

Following their successful years of collaboration, Lynk & Co Cyan Racing and Aurobay have extended their cooperation ahead of the 2024 season. The team is crossing the Atlantic for the next race weekend: June 6-8 at Mid-Ohio in the USA.

"We are very proud to see Aurobay powertrain technology used by the Lynk & Co Cyan Racing team to such great success in Morocco and we look forward to further races this season," said Madam Ruiping Wang, CEO Aurobay.
