Aurobay is pleased to announce that its CEO, Michael Fleiss, will be a keynote speaker at the upcoming Auto Motor und Sport CONGRESS 2024 in Munich on 25 September.

2024.09.24

Michel Fleiss will address the audience on the topic "Powering a Hybrid Future", highlighting the continuing relevance and environmental benefits of hybrid technology in the automotive industry.

Key points of the presentation:

  • Hybrids are here to stay: Mr Fleiss will emphasise that hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains remain competitive alternatives to battery electric vehicles in terms of price, performance, and life-cycle carbon footprint.
  • Regulatory framework for emissions reduction: Mr Fleiss will advocate for technology-agnostic regulations instead of ICE bans, and for legislation that targets carbon footprint over the product life cycle rather than focusing solely on tailpipe emissions.
  • Collaborative approach to emissions reduction: The presentation will stress that the path to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions should not be a competition between technologies but a collaborative effort across the industry.

"I am looking forward to speaking at the Auto Motor und Sport CONGRESS 2024. It's crucial that we address the importance of hybrid technology in our journey towards net zero. The automotive industry is at a pivotal point, and I believe that our approach to powertrain solutions will be a significant factor in shaping our environmental fututure", said Michael Fleiss.

The Auto Motor und Sport CONGRESS 2024 is a leading forum for automotive industry leaders, bringing together experts to discuss the future of mobility and transportation.
