Aurora Clinics Win “Best Aesthetic Clinic” At The MyFaceMyBody Awards 2013

Independent cosmetic surgery group Aurora Clinics have scooped a prestigious national award for their work.
The company, started in 2001, picked up the hotly contested award for “Best Aesthetic Clinic” at the MyFaceMyBody Awards in London on Saturday 2nd November.
Aurora Clinics' founder and Clinical Director, Adrian Richards, said after the award was announced: "We couldn't be more thrilled to have won the award for Best Aesthetic Clinic. The whole team at Aurora, from our support staff through to our practitioners, makes it their absolute priority to put our patients first. What means so much about this award is that it was voted for by real patients who have experienced our clinics first hand. It's an honour to know that they appreciate what we’re doing”.
Aurora started life when Consultant Plastic Surgeon Mr Richards opened his first two private clinics 12 years ago in Oxford and London. Since then, the company has grown year on year and now has a network of 15 clinics across the UK, offering a wide range of cosmetic surgery and non-surgical treatments.
The MyFaceMyBody Awards are now in their second year, and are the UK’s only aesthetic awards that give consumers the chance to vote for their favourite companies, products and services.
The award ceremony was held at the Lancaster Hotel in Central London, and attended by a mixture of health & beauty experts, journalists and celebrities.
Stephen Handisides, creator of the awards, had this to say on the night: “After the huge success of last year’s inaugural awards we hoped that the standard of entries would be as good as last year; we were therefore overjoyed when so many outstanding brands, companies and personalities took part.
“This meant competition was fierce and the judges really did agonise over their decisions. It was a struggle to create a shortlist for consumers to vote on.
“The red carpet was packed, the Narnia theme was simply stunning and it was amazing to have so many of the industry’s top experts attend. Thanks to everyone!”
