Autoliv Receives Japanese Award (Stockholm, Jan. 14, 2004) The award, which is The TPM Excellence - First Category, was given to Autoliv's French subsidiary, Autoliv France, by the Japanese Institute of Plant Maintenance (JIPM). In 2003, the JIPM-Institute awarded 69 companies with its first category award. Most of these companies were Japanese, and only nine European, including two from France. JIPM's goal with its prize is to improve companies' results and to create motivating work conditions.
