Delisting of the AvestaPolarit shares from the Helsinki and Stockholm stock exchanges

Delisting of the AvestaPolarit shares from the Helsinki and Stockholm stock exchanges Helsinki Exchanges informed AvestaPolarit on Friday 14 November that the AvestaPolarit shares will be delisted from the Main List in Helsinki when Outokumpu Oyj in the current arbitration process to redeem all outstanding shares in AvestaPolarit Oyj Abp has gained title as the sole owner to all the shares. Fulfilling this condition means that the delisting in Helsinki will be postponed by probably some months beyond the year-end date for which AvestaPolarit applied. On the same day, 14 November, Stockholmsbörsen published a press release confirming that AvestaPolarit's request to have its shares delisted has been accepted. The last day of trading on the A-list in Stockholm will be 30 December, 2002.
