Avesta Sheffield receives part of pension surplus

Avesta Sheffield receives part of pension surplus SPP (Swedish Staff Pension Insurance) today announced that, based on certain specified conditions, an amount of about SEK 350 million has been reserved on account for Avesta Sheffield and its subsidiaries for pension purposes. The amount represents a surplus allocated by SPP for pension funds deposited by Avesta Sheffield in recent years. The time and the conditions regarding how the funds will be transferred to the Group have not been determined.
