Amendsment to Interim report for January
AMENDMENTS TO INTERIM REPORT FOR JANUARY-MARCH 2001 With reference to the press release 7 May 2001 on AvestaPolarit Oyj Abp Interim Report the following information has been amended. Cash Flow Statement Jan-Mar 2001, Change in working capital, figures have been amended by EUR 73 million (actual) and EUR 63 million (pro forma). This has been done to reflect more accurately the nature of Outokumpu Steel's receivable from Outokumpu Group's cash pool account in the opening balance 1 January 2001. The new figures are based on this item being categorised as cash and bank instead of current receivable. The same categorisation was established in the published pro forma balance sheet 31 December 2000. A minor correction to Jan-March 2001 pro forma income financing and financing activities is also included. The amended cash flow statement is provided below.
