Avnet Memec adds Experience to its Marketing Team
Poing, Germany, 25 March 2014 – Avnet Memec, an Avnet Inc. (NYSE: AVT) company, has appointed a dedicated Technical Marketing Manager to further develop its Space and Hi-Rel business opportunities in Europe.
Paul Leys is joining Avnet Memec to deliver a pan-European strategy to grow the Space & Hi-Rel business across all relevant suppliers as well as managing the E2V and Micross lines directly. Paul will join the Technical Marketing Management team reporting to Bill Walker, in addition to covering a number of customers in Central Europe.

Paul joins Avnet Memec from MSC Vertriebs GmbH where he has held the position of Hi-Rel sales manager for Central and Eastern Europe for the last 22 years. He brings extensive experience of the European electronics markets and holds a BSc Honours degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh.
