Avnet Memec Appointed as Pan-European Distributor for Telegesis
The agreement brings high performance ZigBee module technology to portfolio
Poing, Germany, 10 January 2013 – Avnet Memec, an Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT) company, a leading global technology distributor, today announced that it has been appointed as pan-European distributor for Telegesis UK Limited, a world leading supplier of ZigBee radio module technology.
The new agreement will take effect immediately, and will make Avnet Memec a key distribution partner for the entire line of Telegesis ZigBee radio products. Telegesis ZigBee module technology is built exclusively around the market leading Ember ZigBee SoC technology from Silicon Laboratories of Austin, Texas. Telegesis also offers world class support in ZigBee firmware implementation specialising particularly in ZigBee Smart Energy and ZigBee Home Automation.
