John M. Suzuki Named Senior Vice President of Sales

Avtec, a leading provider of pure IP dispatch console systems for Land Mobile Radio (LMR) applications, announced today that John M. Suzuki has been named senior vice president of sales. Suzuki will provide leadership for direct and indirect sales efforts, strategic partnerships, and targeted business development strategies for Avtec’s VoIP communications systems worldwide.

Suzuki brings nearly 30 years of LMR industry experience to his new role, including 20 years in management and executive roles for leading companies such as Motorola Canada, Ericsson, and EFJohnson. Most recently, Suzuki served as vice president of sales and marketing for 3eTI, a subsidiary of Ultra Electronics, a multi-million dollar defense, security, transport and energy company based in the United Kingdom.

Suzuki holds a BSEE degree from the University of Ottawa and a master’s degree in business from Duke University.
