Axel Johnson International expands offering in dock and loading equipment in France
Forankra France, part of Axel Johnson International’s business group Transport Solutions, has acquired Altec France, effective 24 May. Altec France is a provider of dedicated professional technical solutions in docking equipment, with a leading position in ramps.
“The acquisition of Altec France is well in line with our strategy for geographical expansion and increased service offering in the docking equipment and ramp market,” says Erik Eklöv, Managing Director, Transport Solutions.
Founded in 1993, Altec France is a highly regarded company situated in Nuits-Saint-Georges, Côte d'Or, in Eastern France. It offers dedicated professional technical solutions in docking equipment to distributors, bodybuilders and end-users. Altec France has a leading position in the French ramp market and is a good complement to Forankra France, which has long experience in selling dock equipment.
