Axel Johnson International’s Fluid Handling Solutions business group, AxFlow, has acquired Innva AS, effective 29 April. Innva is a technical distributor of premium valves and piping solutions for the water and wastewater segment in Norway.

“The acquisition of Innva is in line with the AxFlow Group’s strategy of expanding our offering in valves and related technical expertise,” says Ole Weiner, CEO, AxFlow Holding. “We see great opportunities to develop a larger joint offering in the Norwegian water and wastewater segment.”

AxFlow AS has been selling complete pump stations, instrumentation and valves for water and wastewater treatment in Norway for decades. The addition of Innva’s product assortment in valves and piping solutions will enable a stronger combined offering.

Headquartered in Baerum, a suburb of Oslo, Innva is highly regarded in the Norwegian water and wastewater segment. Innva is known for providing high-quality products, with Hawle being one of its most prominent suppliers. Since its foundation in October 2014, Innva has enjoyed strong, double-digit growth, largely due to its high service level and extensive technical expertise.

“Being a part of the AxFlow Group will bring us greater stability and strength as well as considerable opportunities for future growth,” says Hans Erik Maastad, CEO of Innva. “Adding AxFlow's service capacity and strong position in the market will further strengthen our customer offering.”
