Axel Johnson International’s Fluid Handling Solutions business group, AxFlow, has acquired Induchem Group Ltd, effective 12 July. Induchem is an Irish and UK specialist provider of fluid handling solutions and related service capacity.

“The acquisition of Induchem is in line with AxFlow Group’s strategy of adding valves to our existing positive displacement pump portfolio, extending service support and growing geographical presence in our existing markets,” says Ole Weiner, CEO of AxFlow Holding.

Founded in 1982, the Induchem Group is a specialist provider of fluid handling solutions, predominately based on valves, piping solutions, pneumatics, high purity products and pumps combined with extensive service capacity. Today, Induchem serves a wide range of market segments, with most customers present in pharma, power generation, chemicals, petrochemical, design and engineering. Headquartered in Cork, Ireland, the Induchem Group has operations in Ireland and the UK, which complements AxFlow’s existing business in both countries with regard to market industry segments, regional presence, service offering and product offering.

“Becoming part of the AxFlow Group will provide Induchem with the opportunity to continue to grow and scale our successful business model,” says David Carroll, Managing Director of Induchem. “This includes significant opportunities with our existing supply chain and introductions to new suppliers, while expanding the fluid handling offering in both Ireland and the UK through cooperation with AxFlow companies.”
