Axel Johnson International’s Jens S. Group acquires Bronco Transmission AB
Jens S. Group, part of Axel Johnson International’s business group Power Transmission Solutions, has acquired Bronco Transmission AB, effective 1 March. Bronco Transmission is a renowned provider of products and specialist services for industrial brakes, gears and other mechanical power transmissions.
“The addition of Bronco Transmission is well-aligned with our strategy to increase our offering in gear service and maintenance, and we see a strong strategic fit and compatibility between Bronco and Jens S.,” says Ola Sjölin, Managing Director, Power Transmission Solutions.

Founded in 1995, Bronco Transmission AB is a well-reputed provider of products and specialist services for industrial brakes, gears and other mechanical power transmissions with its office in Knivsta, north of Stockholm. Bronco’s main supplied and serviced products are mechanical power transmissions such as brakes, speed reducers, speed increasers, couplings, and gears for heavy Scandinavian industries, with the lion part of its customers in the maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) segment.
