Axel Johnson International has created a new Marketing Director role in the management team of its business group, Lifting Solutions. The aim is to increase emphasis on strategic marketing and digital activities for the business group and to support its companies in their long-term development of marketing and digital tools.

Erik Lissola has been appointed to the role. He will lead a team of marketing professionals and continue to enhance the business group’s already established marketing efforts through the Marketing collaboration team.

Lissola joined Axel Johnson International in 2006 as Internal Sales for Certex Sweden. Since then, he has continued to work within sales & marketing as Marketing Manager and Sales Manager in Sweden. In recent years, he has played an important role in coordinating and building up group-wide activities in marketing and digital tools. Most recently, he had a combined role in business development and as marketing manager for Lifting Solutions.

“Erik has played a big part in forming and developing the Marketing Team in Europe resulting in our common corporate profile, shared marketing and digital tools as well as the marketing collaboration we have today,” says Ralf Wiberg, Managing Director Lifting Solutions, Axel Johnson International. “This makes him very well equipped to take on this new role.”
