Spruit Aandrijftechniek, part of Axel Johnson International, acquires Kurvers ADS Benelux B.V.
Spruit Aandrijftechniek, part of the business group Power Transmission Solutions, strengthens its position in the Netherlands through the acquisition of Kurvers ADS Benelux B.V. Kurvers is a service company specializing in preventative maintenance of power transmission products.
“The acquisition of Kurvers is well aligned with our growth strategy, allowing us to further grow our service offering while expanding geographically. With expertise in industrial maintenance, together with a presence in the southern part of the country, Kurvers is an ideal add-on to Spruit and will strengthen our position in this region”, says Pieter van Wijnsberge, Managing Director, Spruit.
Founded in 2006, Kurvers is a service company specializing in periodic and preventive maintenance of power transmission products, mainly gearboxes. Kurvers is located in Helden in the southern part of the Netherlands, close to the German and Belgian border. The company has the majority of its customer in the maintenance, repair and, operations (MRO) segment, and its expertise includes services with several brands such as PIV, Brevini, Rossi, SEW Eurodrive, and Bonfiglioli.
“We are very happy to join forces with Spruit and become part of Axel Johnson International. We look forward to this new journey and to developing the company together with Spruit”, says Johan Kurvers, Founder of Kurvers.
