Linköping, 15 October 2025 – Axentia Technologies AB (“Axentia”) has signed a framework agreement with REVG Rhein-Erft Verkehrsgesellschaft mbH in Germany for the delivery of next-generation passenger information displays. The agreement includes a minimum of 540 solar-powered E-paper displays, with the option to expand to up to 1,500 units over the contract period. Axentia will be responsible for operation and warranty for ten years, providing a complete solution from pole to system.

The 13-inch E-paper displays feature four buttons that give passengers quick access to real-time information, timetables, and service alerts. The displays are also equipped with text-to-speech functionality to enhance accessibility for visually impaired users. Battery operation combined with solar panels enables energy-independent operation and rapid deployment.

Under the framework agreement, Axentia will deliver the backend system, installation, pole systems, and, where required, groundwork for foundations. The solution also includes a static Wing Easy sign from partner Mabeg, ensuring clear stop identification.

- “The demand for sustainable passenger information is high in the German market. Together with REVG, we are demonstrating how battery- and solar-powered E-paper displays can modernize stops quickly and cost-effectively,” says Dick Ollas, CEO of Axentia Technologies AB.
