Axentia Strengthens Its Position in Secure Digital Public Transport with ISO 27001 Certification

Linköping, 2 July 2026 – Axentia Technologies AB has achieved certification to ISO/IEC 27001:2022, the internationally recognized standard for information security management systems. The certification strengthens Axentia’s internal processes and ways of working, while enhancing the company’s ability to meet the growing information security requirements of customers and markets.

Axentia is already certified to ISO 9001 for quality management and ISO 14001 for environmental management. The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, issued by Qvalify, covers the design, development, manufacturing, installation, support and maintenance of real-time systems and passenger information solutions for public transport. With this certification, Axentia’s management system is further strengthened through a structured framework for protecting and managing information, systems and data.

As public transport becomes increasingly digitalized, the need for robust and secure information solutions continues to grow. Achieving ISO 27001 certification is therefore an important milestone in Axentia’s ongoing efforts to ensure a high level of information security across its products, systems and internal processes.
