Axfood’s Chairman of the Board to leave at the 2025 AGM

Axfood’s Chairman of the Board Thomas Ekman has today announced that he will decline re-election at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 19 March 2025. He will remain in his role as Chairman until the 2025 AGM.

Axfood’s Nominating Committee is tasked with making recommendations with regards to directors and the Chairman of the Board, among other things. The Nominating Committee’s recommendations in full will be announced in conjunction with the notice to the 2025 AGM at the latest.

Axel Johnson has today announced that Thomas Ekman will leave his role as President and CEO of Axel Johnson. More information is available in Axel Johnson’s press release.
