Net sales* (excluding VAT) for stores in Sweden owned by the Group increased by 8.9% for the month of April, with a 3.2% rise in like-for-like sales. Consolidated net sales totalled SEK 2,361 m (2,249), an increase of 5.0% compared with the same period a year ago. Sales for the period January-April 2006 rose 6.4%, with a 0.4% rise in like-for-like sales. Consolidated net sales totalled SEK 9,181 m (8,900), an increase of 3.2%. Hemköp’s sales decreased by 5.1% during the month, with a 0.4% rise in like-for-like sales. Accumulated sales decreased by 3.6%, with a 0.3% decrease in like-for-like sales. Willys’ sales increased by 18.1% during the month, with a 5.1% rise in like-for-like sales. Accumulated sales increased by 12.4%, with a 0.8% rise in like-for-like sales. Willys hemma’s sales decreased by 8.3%, with a 6.4% decresase in like-for-like sales. Accumulated sales decreased by 1.7%, with a 3.7% decrease in like-for-like sales.
