Axfood's sales February 2004 Net sales* (excluding VAT) for stores in Sweden owned by the Group, increased by 9.5% for the month of February, of which same-stores increased by 6.8%. Consolidated net sales for February totalled SEK 2,585 m (2,525), an increase by 2,4% compared with the same period a year ago. Under the period January-February 2004 the increase was 9.2% for stores in Sweden owned by the Group, of which same-stores increased by 5.6%. Consolidated net sales totalled SEK 5,258 m (5,227), an increase of 0,6%. Of total sales, the Swedish operations accounted for SEK 4,474 m (4,440) and Spar Finland for SEK 784 m (787). Hemköp's sales increased by 2.5% during the month, of which same-stores increased by 5.9%. Accumulated sales increased by 1.8%, of which same-stores increased by 5.2%. Willys grew its sales by 14.3% during the month, of which same-stores increased by 7.5%. Accumulated sales increased by 14.4%, of which same-stores increased by 5.8%. Willys hemma grew its sales by 6.0% during the month, of which same-stores increased by 3.5%. Accumulated sales increased by 5.4%, of which same-stores increased by 2.1%. Spar Finland's sales decreased by 0.3% and in local currency a decrease by 0.6%. Accumulated sales fell by 0.4%, and in local currency a decrease by 0.3%. For stores owned by the Group the increase in local currency was 10.8%, of which same-stores increased by 1.8%. For stores owned by the Group accumulated sales in local currency increased by 6.5% of which same-stores increased by 0.3%.
